Fairwees at All that Scraps!

When I saw this little cuties I was totally in Awe!!! They are little, cute and so sweet... and a joy to work with! There are 6 different cuties... I choose Daphne and Piper for this card.
I made this birthday card for my best friend Linda!
It's a different kind of card.. the left part is glued together which makes it a little different!

It's not easy to make a Condolence card... but with the Elegant Greeting by AmyR it's a warm and tender

process to make a card like this.

I stamped the Text onto cardstock and embossed it with fine silver embossing powder. 

The charm is from my stash and has a cross in it.

New Swiss Pixies at All That Scraps

Hi there...
Well after almost 4 weeks of bedrest I'm finally busy with physical therapy and craft a little now and then. Both really helped me through it all. Not there yet... but I have this feeling and strong believe deep inside me that all is going to be fine with me.

Sketch #5 at Christmas Challenges with Sketches

Hi there.... time fllies huh... and here we are... making Christmas Cards in July!!!!
Today I'm showing you a card that will be used in two challenges! The first one that is up today is on All That Scraps Challenge Blog they are having a Christmas in July theme!
The Second one is the forthnight Christmas Challenges with Sketches, this week it's Carol's turn to deliver the sketch... and girls did she make a wonderful one!!!

A little update here

Hi girls, I've been to the hospital for an extra check-up since my temperture was gone up. All is well... the wound is healing and cleaning up old blood in the wound so that gives some temp change. Nothing to worry about.The made a really nice stitches so there won't be such a big stripe on the side of my knee. I still have a lot of pain meds... and that keeps it beareble...  I want to thank all of you for the huge amount of cards that you sent to me!!! Cards for my good recovery, cards with presents for my birthday! My gosh.... I was amazed by it... each and every one is a piece of art itsefl! They are standing on a table close to me and I enjoy them every day! Thanks a million for this support!(it really makes my day every time again to see them and to read the warm and caring words!!!) And the card that is here I made (way on time) for my Daughter. She had her birthday last week.Wanted to share it with you all.

Christmas challenges with sketches #4

I'm back home. The operation went fine. They didn't take out both tumors. But the first step is made. Now I need to stay in bed for another 6 weeks. 

Can you imagine that... I'm going crazy... but the best part is that I'm home. Loads of pain relief meds.. so sleepy as a cat... but glad that I'm home.

Well coming to that... I realised that I forgot to make this post and pre-sheduling it. But here it is... better late then never...

Anything goes at All That Scraps

Whohooooo..... It's the first of June.... I don't know why... but I love this month... just a few weeks till summer vacation starts for my DS and I will be hanging around on my balcony or on my crafting table... Anyway.... I just wish that this whole month will be one with lot's of sunshine!

Being off line for a short while..

Hi Girls,
Well it's finally time... I got the test results and it appears that I have two malignant tumors in my upper leg bone.Last Tuesday I got the final results and the news that coming monday I will have the surgery.
They will remove both tumors and then I'm not able to use my leg on any way. So will be having a lot of bedtime. After that the rehabilitation will start and I will be coming around more and more.Of course I hope this will be sooner.. but since I'm not sure... I just keep it on that.
I have some post pre-sheduled here.. so now and then there will be a post here.
Last few weeks I had a lot of support and sweet words from you all. I want to thank you for it. It really was a shoulder to lean on and cry now and then.But from here on it's back up the hill...
I will the coloring, making cards and see all of your work and most of all chatting with you...But be assured that I will think of you...Here is a little card with that same text (in Dutch).

Bingo Challenge at Totally Papercraft challenge

Yep TGIF!!!!So it's time for a totally new challenge at Totally Papercraft Challenge blog!
And this week it's a totally different one... We have a Bingo challenge! I used the bottom horizontal line of this square!

I really played with all different kind of inks this time. Oh it was so relaxing and fun!

First of all I used a bazzil white cardstock and I embossed the flowers from Stempel Glede with clear embossing powder.

Then inked the paper with 3 kinds of Distress inks: Dried marigold, Spiced Marmelade, Wild Honey.

Then used Orchid Birgitta or the digi version and colored her with Copic markers and H20

Skin: E000,E50,E21,R20  Hair: E18,19,17,15 and H20 H20 Cinnamon stick

Others: YR00,01,04 and H20 Dreamsicle, B21,24,26

The edge is stamped with a stamp from the sheet of Stempel Glede
