Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge at All that Scraps

Morning ladies.... today there is a Theme this week at the All That Scraps Challenge Blog!And it's an important one!!!
Breast Awareness Month!
We want you to use pink on your card for the rest of the month!!!I'm so happy with this theme! As a daughter of a two time breastcancer survivor I'm so aware of the needto keep giving support to those who fought this hard disease... some won... some lost it...and those who stayed behind need our support and care as well.
So dear Mom... this card is dedicated to you!!! A true fighter and survivor!!! Thanks for showing me that you can beat this monster!
So I'm asking you to take out all the pink you have and join us in this warm and caring challenge and show our loved ones, friends, people we know that we care and think of them!!!

Now a week ago I saw a documentary on tv from the The SCAR project... I found their site and was so touched by it!  They have this slogan on the site...
Breast Cancer is not a Pink Ribbon....
As my mom survived Breast Cancer twice at a young age... this slogan, these photo's and documentary are so true of what is happening and what it does for the woman who is diagnozed with this horrible cancer! As a daughter of a survivor and lived so close to my mom during those times... I agree with this slogan!It's way beyond that!!!

Sketch challenge at All that Scraps

 Today the theme of this weeks challenge is a great sketch that is made by our team girl Janneke.At All that Scraps Challenge blog you can find this fabulous sketch!Thank you Janneke, it was so much fun to work with it! I decided to give this sketch a little twist...Here is the card that I made with it!

New challenge at All that scraps blog!

It's Wednesday so that meands it's time for a new challenge atAll That Scraps Challenge Blog!
This weeks theme is to make you own paper buttons. So I started to make my own buttons... let them to dry while taking my afternoon nap... woke up and found that the buttons were take by the two kittens. They had heaps of fun with them!!! Well at least I know that they were appreciated!So I skipped the idea to start over again... and made some more simple buttons on the card!

Anything goes at All That Scraps

Whohooooo..... It's the first of June.... I don't know why... but I love this month... just a few weeks till summer vacation starts for my DS and I will be hanging around on my balcony or on my crafting table... Anyway.... I just wish that this whole month will be one with lot's of sunshine!
And today is also the day that there is a brand new Anything goes Challenge at theAll That Scraps Challenge Blog!I used one of the new Digital stamps from C.C. Design. She is called Ladybug Monkey and can be found HERE in the section June 2011.The text is a stamp that you can find HERE in the section June 2011!

I colored her with my wonderful copic markersFace: E0000,000,00,R20 Fur: E21,23,25,27,29Others: RV32,34 and Atyou Spica Silver for the antenna on her head.The papers are from Kaisercraft Chanteuse collectionSwirl and lace are from stash.

Another Challenge at All That Scraps!

When I see text for sentiments I just must have them!!! And girl... at All That Scraps there are some great great new Sentiments!
Sometimes the stamps have the amazing size to just fill the card... and these are just like that.So I used this beautiful stamp for this card!


And since today there is another great and exciting challenge atAll That Scraps Challenge blog I made this card for it.
This week it's all about using Felt on you project.

Flowers are a cutting die by Crealies

Somehow the colors of the felt look red on the photo and I can't get it better then this. But in real they are just like the pink of the flowers on the paper.

new Challenge at All That Scraps!

I keep fighting with my laptop to get acces to internet and all my stuff... and sometimes I'm lucky and sometimes I'm not... 

Well last week there were a lot on not days... so I didn't post my part of the new challenge at 

All That Scraps Challenge!

And that is a pitty because this week is a real great one! It's all about Watering Cans...

So this is what I made with the fun template that you can find at the challenge blog!

I used white Cardstock, stamped and clear embossed it and then inked it with Distress inks.

The stamp is Briar the Imp and Sonata from Sweet November

I colored both on DCP with copic markers

Text is from my stash.
