DT Call and new challenge at Totally Papercrafts Challenge!

Well a lot has happened her past two weeks... A ton of birthday's and me stepping down from the Inky Impressions Design Team. I finally was able to cut the knob that was in my head about this... and I finally found my peace again.
That gave my mojo a little boost and I'm creating like crazy... LOLLucky me because today we have a great challenge starting again at Totally Papercrafts challenge. Last week we really gave you all a heard time with the use of Acetate! This week Anne has a complete new idea for a challenge... Layer upon Layer!!!  I just love using layers on layer!!!

One card for two challenges!

TGIF.... again... isn't it great that Friday is coming back? (OMG... it's Thursday today.... sorry for the mistake of early posting... this is one of my senior moments LOL
Well I'm happy with it... because it means that the weekend will arrive soon and will bring plenty more time to play in my craft room!
Today's card is ready for two brand new challenges that are up and ready today!The first challenge is on the wonderful blog of Totally Papercraft Challenge Blog!

This weeks theme, by Mel, is a true challenge .... Use Acetate!!!!I can tell you that my teamies gave a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make you inspirational examples! Please give them a warm thank you at the blog!For me it was so much fun to play with the acetate and let my spirit fly free with it!Well here is my card!

I embossed the Acetate and Airbrushed it with green copic marker... then removed a part

of the copic ink. The acetate is little up above the stamped image from Crafty Individuals, CI-183

unfortunally not visible at this photo.

The Crafty Individuals stamp is colored with my pencils and placed behind the acetate.

The text stamp on top is from Art Journey and a gift from a good friend of my!

Preview All That Scraps Day 2

Goodmorning to you all!!! Today we start with day 2 of the preview off brand new stamps that will be for sale from today HERE!
There are so many fantastic new stamps to choose from! I consider myself so lucky to be in the DT Team of All That Scraps and be able to work with all these beauties... Today I choose a cutie to work with....He's called Reindeer Lights...And he looks like how I'm feeling when I add the lights to the tree.... so look at him and see me struggling with those lightbulbs.... giggle.

Oh we are so lucky here in The Netherlands.... we have a whole week with summer sun and temps that belong to summertime!!! At last we have some.... and that makes the trees and their leaves spectaculair to see...  All the shades of green and shades of brown on them.... I just had to play and try to express my feelings on how beautiful it is....And lucky me... this weeks theme at Totally Papercraft Challenge blog is Autumn!!!!And as I work on the blog of ARTSpecially Friends as well I can finally combine my big passion for playing with all kind of techniques and challenges and be able to show more of my "art" cards here on my blog...I sure hope you like it.

Now the basic technique I found in the magazine ARTSpecially magazine # 4 page 8. 

Just gave it my own twist...

* I airbrushed the background on bazzil white cardstock with E09,E18,YG95,YG97.

* Worked the background with a Minimister and Copic Blender fluids

* Then stamped with gesso and Poetic leaves and Poetic prints from Hero Art the white leaves.

* Then stamped the same leaves with Adirondack Oregano, Cat's eye Lime pastel and Chesnut Roan and Brillance Pearlesent Poppy.

* Cut out the Tim Holtz tree and used the left over as a stencil and inked it with Tea Dye and Vintage photo.

* Add Gesso to the edges of the cards... when dried I inked them with Vintage photo and Walnut stain.

* Stamped the text that says:

Miracles are so ordinary that if you don't look you don't see them!

* Added some little leaves from my stash.

Well TGIF again... what a week it has been. My DD moved out last weekend and this week my DS took many days to move over to his sisters room... all those days my house stayed a mess. And having a messy crafting table is something completly different then a messy house!! I can tell you that.So for me it's a big THANK YOU it's over!

Not a card challenge.

Hi ladies..... It's another Friday and what a week did I had....Lot's is going on... my big DD is flying out of home this month....So the nest is getting a little emptier.... Mixed feelings is what I have... but I'm so convinced that she is ready for this big step! 
And lucky me that this weeks challenge at Totally Papercraft Challenge blog has a theme that allowed me to make something that is useful for my emotions...
It's Anything but a card!!!Here is my contribution!

I made a little tissuebox with my silhouette....

Back to school...

I just can't help myself anymore... I'm totally fallen in love for the digital images of A day for daisies!Really smitten on them.... they are so sweet and touching.... so when I saw that we at Totally Papercraft Challenge are having a Back to School theme for the challenge this week...I knew this little guy was perfect for it.He's called "I can read"

I colored the little guy with my pencils again. I don't use odorless terpentine of babyoil...

just keep adding layers of lots of different colors to get to this kind of coloring..

But first of all I want to share some good news with you all! 

I've been back for the results to the hospital... and they declared that I'm clean from the malignant cancer...

I will stay under control for 10 years... but for now... I'm clean.

The one that is left in the upperleg... is non-malignant.. and will be under control as well.

So I almost did a happy dance on one leg (If I could).

Now it's time to start building up and Enjoy the future again!

New stamps at Hobbystempels and challenge at TPS.

Yes, like the new hit from Kate Perry says TGIF!!!!!
And to my great joy there is a new brand in store at Hobbystempels, this week there are stamps in store of Mo Manning (stampingbella). I have a soft spot for those cute and lovely stamps of Mo!So I decided to combine one of the new stamps, Lacie with Icecream with the new challenge that is up and running at Totally Papercraft Challenge Blog!
This week the theme is: Food and Drinks!! 

As you all know I'm totally into coloring with copic markers and I negcleted my pencils totally.

It was so bad that I even couldn't find the stroke to get back to bright colors again. But after some internet surfing and making little trials on paper I found my groove with the pencils again!

I decided to keep the card very clean from embellishments... I wanted all the attention to go to the stamp!

Holiday Challenge at Totally Papercrafts challenge

Well... it's Friday again... and I'm so so happy that I was able to do a little crafting while having bedrest.My kids prepared lots of things around my bed to help me make this card.I was so so so happy when I finished it...

Bingo Challenge at Totally Papercraft challenge

Yep TGIF!!!!So it's time for a totally new challenge at Totally Papercraft Challenge blog!
And this week it's a totally different one... We have a Bingo challenge! I used the bottom horizontal line of this square!

I really played with all different kind of inks this time. Oh it was so relaxing and fun!

First of all I used a bazzil white cardstock and I embossed the flowers from Stempel Glede with clear embossing powder.

Then inked the paper with 3 kinds of Distress inks: Dried marigold, Spiced Marmelade, Wild Honey.

Then used Orchid Birgitta or the digi version and colored her with Copic markers and H20

Skin: E000,E50,E21,R20  Hair: E18,19,17,15 and H20 H20 Cinnamon stick

Others: YR00,01,04 and H20 Dreamsicle, B21,24,26

The edge is stamped with a stamp from the sheet of Stempel Glede

Gone Fishing with Tilda at Totally Papercraft and Hobbystempels.

Oh.. I know... I'm late.... I hope you all forgive me... this past week I was a lot of time in the hospital for more tests again.We hope that these will be the last ones and that I will get more results coming Tuesday.So when I know more on Tuesday I will share with you what the future will bring for me... till then.. you just have to wait and wonder with me.
And since today is Friday there has to be a card here for the new challenge at Totally Papercraft Challenge blog! This weeks theme is stripes and dots... and there is another fabulous sponsor there!

So on the last moment I made a card with a Magnolia image. Now that is not a type of stamps that I use much. But this Tilda gone fishing has something great... she is cute and tough! And that is what I like about her! And then I got papers from Hobbystempels.nl for cards for their blog. And Oh boy... this green is way out of my comfort zone!! I tell you that... But I put on my brave shoes and start working with them..Colored Tilda with my Derwent pencils... and here she is!
