That is the challenge that is playing at the Michelle Perkett Challenge Blog!

What a beautiful creatings you all made for last weeks challenge! I was so inspired by you all!

Thanks for joining us and I hope that you all join us again in this weeks Challenge.

This week you have to make our own design or background papers and use an image of Michelle!

I used Snowfamily and colored them with Copic Markers

The light blue cardstock is embossed and inked with with stampink ink

The white cardstock is stamped with versamark and embossed with Tim Holz Distress powder.

The snow is made with the snowmarker!

Vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het blog van Michelle Perkett

Deze week is het de bedoeling dat je zelf achtergrond papier maakt. Dus geen kant en klaar designpapier gebruiken.

Ik heb het lichtblauwe cardstock embossed met een sizzix folder en met inkt gekleurd.

Het witte cardstock heb ik gestempeld met versamark en met Tim Holtz Distressing poeder bewerkt.

 Creaweekend & Friday Sketchers #130

Afgelopen vrijdag met Amanda, Cornelie, Janneke en haar moeder naar de beurs geweest.

Ik vond het zo leuk om jullie allemaal te ontmoeten in het echt. En ook de andere dames die zich aansloten.. wat een gezellige dag hebben we gehad. Ook ik heb leuke dingen gescoord!

Twee magnolia stempels en super leuk papier.

En daar vanmorgen vroeg al een kaart mee gemaakt. 

 En het is al weer een nieuwe week dus een nieuwe sketch bij de Friday Sketchers!

This Friday I went with a bunch of girls to the CreaWeekend over here in the Netherlands.

We had a lot of fun and it was for the first time that I met some girls in real live!

Card for a friend

Card for a Friend, part 2

Now I talked about posting the other card earlier this week... So I think that the snailmail has arrived at her home and I can savely place the card on my blog today.


And there is some more good news. There is a brand new Christmas Challenge blog.
It's called Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge blog

So this card goes their first challenge!


And I hope you all go there and join the fun!

So here is the card that I made for my friend Amanda!

She knows what I mean with these words.

The papers are from Magnolia's newest Christmas line

the text is an old stamp I own and I embossed it with fine silver embossing powder.

Little pearls on it form Joy.

The front shows that it's a card in a card.

I had so much fun coloring this image! And to be honest I think the red dress turned out great. LOL

Ok, zondag had ik het hier al over. Een kaartje voor mijn vriendin. Ik denk dat de kaart inmiddels wel op haar deurmat ligt bij Amanda en dat ik hem hier nu veilig kan laten zien.

Ze weet ook wat ik bedoel met deze woorden die er in staan.

Dit is een kaart in een kaart... en het papier is de nieuwe kerstlijn van Magnolia. De stempel is al een oudje die ik met fijn zilver embossingpoeder hebt gemaakt.

Pareltjes van Joy and bloemetje uit mijn voorraad.  En het rendier bij Xenos vandaan.

Deze magnolia is ingekleurd met mijn Copic Markers en ik ben best tevreden over hoe het jurkje is geworden.

Ben benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden.

Guest Designer call at Whiff of Joy

Whiff of Joy is having a Guest Designer Call.

This afternoon I felt good enough to give this Call you can find HERE a try. So I decided to add a little challenge in the sketch they gave.

Card when it's fold out.

I used this Angel delivering the Christmas tree by Whiff of Joy for this Tri-Fold card that is based on the sketch they gave.

I colored her with copics, Atyou spica, Liqued Pearls and chalks, nestabilities

The designpaper is Magnolia designpapers. 

The Swirls in the middle are by Tim Holtz Alternations and twice embossed with Thick Embossingpowder

The berry's on the leaves are airbrushed with R89

Leaves are punched with a Nellie Snellen punch

Text is from stash, stamped silver and embossed with fine silver embossingpowder.
Little pearls for Joy

Ribbon, flowers are from stash.

I hope that they appreciate the free interpretation of the sketch.

Been ill

Cute Card for a Friend.

I know, it was strangely quit on my blog. I've been very ill and spent all my time in bed. Got antibiotics that didn't work and finally Friday some antibiotics that started to do something.

So today I'm trying to be up a few hours and build up some condition again.

I really lost a jacket full of energy of this.

Luckily I made two cards before I became ill. I never put them on photo or on my blog.

So now I would love to show them.

Most of you know that I'm not always of the Magnolia images... but a good friend of my had a bunch of them and I decided to give them a chance... And how strange... I start to like them more and more!

So here is the first one that I made.

The papers are from Sei and I colored the stamp with my copics. 

I start to love coloring with Red more and more!

The other card I will show later this week since it will be on the snailmail to my friend.

Ik weet dat het ongewoon stil was op mijn blog afgelopen week. Ik ben heel ziek geweest. De eerste antibiotica kuur sloeg niet aan en uiteindelijk vrijdag een nieuwe en zware kuur gekregen die nu eindelijk zijn werk begint te doen. Kan dus weer een beetje op zijn en even op mijn blog wat plaatsen en rondsurfen voor ik weer mijn bed induik.

Meeste weten dat ik niet zoveel had met de Magnolia stempels. Maar een vriendin van mij had een berg magnoliaatje en ik ben dus eens aan de slag gegaan met ze. En tsja... ik vind ze steeds leuker worden om mee te werken. Geloof dat ik besmet raak met het Magnolia virus.

Dit is de eerste magnolia die ik heb ingkleurd. En ik moet zeggen dat ik het inkleuren met rode Copic Markers steeds leuker ga vinden. Krijg het in de vingers.

Ik heb nog een leuk kaartje gemaakt maar dat komt later in de week op mijn blog. Het gaat eerst op de post naar mijn vriendinnetje toe. Dus daar moeten jullie nog even op wachten.

Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie van dit kaartje vinden.

Hoe gebruik je de snowmarker!

Hoe gebruik je de Snowmarker?

Zoals ik het beloofd op de KreaDoe is hier de uitleg over hoe je de snowmarker kunt gebruiken.

Wanneer je de marker voor het eerst gaat gebruiken is het verstandig om de punt eerst op een restje papier een aantal keren zachtjes wat in te drukken.

Op deze manier zie je dan vanzelf de inkt tevoorschijn komen.

Nu kun je op de plaatsen waar jij sneeuwvlokjes in de lucht, of sneeuw op de grond of sneeuw op een dak of voor het maken van een bontrandje langs een muts of wantje aanbrengen.

Hoe dikker de laag inkt die je aanbrengt hoe hoger de laag uiteindelijk wordt. Dus wanneer je dunne lijntjes op een denneboom wilt aanbrengen dan is het belangrijk om een dun lijntje te maken. Echter maak het ook niet te dun… dan komt er namelijk geen sneeuw omhoog. Op dit soort kleine stukjes is dus enige oefening vereist.

Zorg er nu voor dat je de inkt van de snowmarker helemaal laat drogen! Dit is heel belangrijk voor het mooiste resultaat. Wanner de inkt niet meer glint en dof is kun je aan de slag met je heattool.

Hou deze op enige afstand van de inkt en je ziet de sneeuw groeien.

Hier is het eindresultaat.

Ik hoop dat alles op deze manier duidelijk is en jullie lekker aan de slag kunnen met de snowmarker.

Gisteren heb ik een dagje op de stand van Creabest de Copic Markers mogen demonstreren en uitleggen. Ik wil alle dames die langs zijn geweest en die ik heb mogen helpen bedanken.

Wat een feest is het geweest. De dag is voorbij gevlogen en ik vond het zo ontzettend leuk om jullie te ontmoeten.

Ik hoop dat alle uitleg jullie weer wat verder op weg hebben geholpen met deze geweldige Markers. Ook hoop ik dat jullie nieuwe aankopen allemaal bevallen en ik ben heel benieuwd naar jullie werk hiermee. Dus laat het me weten als je iets op je blog zet?

Daarnaast heb ik ook de Snowmarker gedemonstreerd. En regelmatig hoorde ik dames zeggen dat ze hoopten dat ze het nog wisten als ze thuis kwamen. En voor jullie ga ik dan ook een tutorial maken over hoe je deze marker moet gebruiken.

Yesterday I was at the KreaDoe. This is a huge event in the Netherlands were crafters from all over the country come too. I was doing the demo all day with the copic Markers and the Snowmarker.  I met a lot of new girls and I had a great time.

I hope that all the info and the new stuff you bought will bring you lots of fun!
