I don't know how that is for you. But I'm so totally into Christmas spirit already. Normally it starts with me half December. But with all these stunning new images from Shelly for Christmas.... well it's no wonder that I'm in the mood already.

Art Specially!

De nieuwe Art Specially is uit. En ik ben zo opgetogen, blij en trots omdat ik er in sta!

Mijn werk staat op bladzijde 29. En een uitleg van de door mij gemaakte kaarten vindt je op hun website: www.artspecially.nl 

Verder is het blad weer heel goed gevuld met allerlei verschillende projecten en kaarten. Het is iedere keer weer een bron van inspiratie om op ontdekkingsreis te gaan naar een nieuwe creatie. Ik hoop dat jullie een kijkje nemen en mij laten weten wat je er van vindt.

I've been published in the Art Specially. This Dutch Magazine is filled with creative and beautiful cards and projects. For me it is very inspirational and makes me looking for more and different ways to make something.

Spotlight Saturday Sale

at Michelle Perkett!

I know.... Thanksgiving is coming first in America... and in my country we have our own “Sinterklaas”.

When I translate that it means Santa Claus. He arrives half November with a big boat from Spain. It’s a really big thing in my country. And the day that the holy man arrives it is a special live program on TV as well.

Children till the age of 7 till 9 still believe he exist And from that day the children can put their shoes in front of the chimney and sing special songs for the old man with beard and his black helper. And for the horse there is a little cup with water and a carrot for his horse. He comes over the roof with his horse and his helpers and brings presents to the children in their shoe the next morning.

And on December 5^th we celebrate his birthday with all kind of presents for the kids. And the older once we build surprises about something that is funny that happened that year and hide a present in it. Of course there is a large poem add to it that needs to be read out loud in the room. Mostly it’s about funny things that happened that year and making fun about it.

And on December 6^th he leaves our country to go home to Spain again.

  

                 

But now I have grown up children and we do celebrate this day with suprises and poems, I noticed that I’m also already busy with the Christmas Cards and making embellishments with crafting supplies in my home.

Today I made this lovely Candlelight wrapper. I added an image from Michelle to it. It’s called Snowman with Heart and can be found HERE!

This is what I made with this lovely Snowman!

I colored the snowman with my copic markers: Boooo, R32,35,37, E25,29, G21, YG63, YR 04,07, Atyou spica Olive and Lipstick.

Papers are from Magnolia Vintage Christmas Snowy wood.

Spiderweb papers from stash.

Snowflakes with Martha Stewart punch and Stickles.

Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images

Marvelous Monday is here again!

Goodmorning to you all. I had a great weekend and finally my mojo is coming back to me.

After a rough week and weekend with a very ill little kitty things are on track again here.

I had a lot of support from the girls of the Design Teams I'm in and from the girls at the CDAC group. I want to thank them for this. I love you all and I appreciate all the support you gave me.

And I also want to thank Shelly from Shelly's Images. She gave me some space in not making some cards for her team. I'm very thankfull for that!

But today yesterday I sat down and finally I realized that my mojo was coming back.

The fun in coloring images and making a project did me good.

So here is the result of all this:

I made this giftbox and I used the image Best Gift from Shelly's Images on it.

New Challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio

A new card with an Image from

Michelle Perkett!

After a great weekend and a fantastic blog hop it's time for a new challenge at the 

blog of Michelle Perkett!

Although the weekend was great I woke up sundaymorning on the verge of getting ill.

I decided to go back to bed and try to sleep it off... but this morning it still wasn't much.

But I decided to get up and try to color a bit...

And here is the result of my effort...

I used the Forest Fairy and you can find her HERE in the Etsy Store of Michelle!

I decided to color her in soft tones with Copic markers.

In her hair and the wings I used Atyou Spica Pens Silver and Gold. I apologize but it's not visible at the photo.

New Challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio

Witches Brew mixed with Halloween!

Today a new challenge is starting at Michelle Perkett Studio Blog.

And the theme is Witches brew mixed with Halloween...!

You better be prepared cause coming weekend there is a 

big fun Full Moon Fever Blog Hop!

I still have this challenge of not having any Halloween papers. So I used my airbrush to color design paper in matching colors with my coloring. also the flowers are airbrushed.

In the dress the stars and Moons are colored with Atyou Spica Gold and in the big white flowers I used Atyou Spica Lavender to add stripes..

I colored CandyCornWitch with my new Copic Colors RV91-93-95!

A bit later that usual I want to share this card with a the Lovely image Pilgrim Girl by

shelly's Images.

I had such a fantastic weekend. We had the first Dutch Copic Event!!!

What a fantastic weekend this was. There were so many different workshops and I was honored to give 5 of them.
