A new card with an Image from

Michelle Perkett!

After a great weekend and a fantastic blog hop it's time for a new challenge at the 

blog of Michelle Perkett!

Although the weekend was great I woke up sundaymorning on the verge of getting ill.

I decided to go back to bed and try to sleep it off... but this morning it still wasn't much.

But I decided to get up and try to color a bit...

And here is the result of my effort...

I used the Forest Fairy and you can find her HERE in the Etsy Store of Michelle!

I decided to color her in soft tones with Copic markers.

In her hair and the wings I used Atyou Spica Pens Silver and Gold. I apologize but it's not visible at the photo.

Papers are from October Afternoon

New Challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio

Witches Brew mixed with Halloween!

Today a new challenge is starting at Michelle Perkett Studio Blog.

And the theme is Witches brew mixed with Halloween...!

You better be prepared cause coming weekend there is a 

big fun Full Moon Fever Blog Hop!

And this weeks challenge is all about that too!!!

Here is the card that I made for this weeks challenge.

I used CandyCorn Witch by Michelle and you can find her HERE!

I still have this challenge of not having any Halloween papers. So I used my airbrush to color design paper in matching colors with my coloring. also the flowers are airbrushed.

In the dress the stars and Moons are colored with Atyou Spica Gold and in the big white flowers I used Atyou Spica Lavender to add stripes..

I colored CandyCornWitch with my new Copic Colors RV91-93-95!

I had such a fantastic weekend. We had the first Dutch Copic Event!!!

What a fantastic weekend this was. There were so many different workshops and I was honored to give 5 of them.

Princess Oceana by Michelle Perkett!

Today you're reading one of my pre post that I made for you. Because today I'm at the big Dutch Copic Event in the Netherlands. 

I will be giving 5 workshops about what you can do with Copic Markers.

A few weeks ago I posted a tutorial HERE on how to color hair in a different way and color.

But never finished the image on a card.

Well today you can see Oceana on a card.

She is colored with Copic Markers according to the tutorial.

It is blog hop time!!

Halloween is almost here and to celebrate  Michelle Perkett Studio is having a blog hop!!

 The hop will be the weekend  of Oct. 23 & 24.

 To make it even creepier there will be a full moon that weekend!

Michelle has some awesome images that make awesome Halloween cards and decorations.

Today a new challenge has started at the blog of Michelle Perkett.

This challenge is all about using an image from Michelle and making your own flowers too....

And I so so love this challenge.

although I have to say that I skipped the selfmade part this week....

But here is what I came up with.

Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images

Marvelous Monday!!!

Hi everyone..... It's monday again and the weather here is so wonderful. The sun is shining and outside it smells like herbs and the air is crispy.

The trees are starting to color so beautiful now. They are yellow and brown and here and there still some green.

It's so inspirational to sit and watch the sun play in the leaves...

So this card that I made with Shelly's Images Thanks is inspired by that view from my home.

Saturday again

Saturday again!

The week has raced by. It was a bumpy ride this week... but at the end I can say that all turned out very well.

Last wednesday my DS turned 17 years young. (And yes for a slight moment I felt old)

And I think that I told before that he is doing an education to become a baker and pastry maker.

He is doing an internship at a famous baker/pastry maker is the big city near to our town.

And on his birthday they gave him the chance to make his very own birthday cake all by himself. So he went to work and did it!!!

And that cake was so beautiful!! He got compliments from the masterchief and they all told him that he is very talented and that he has a great future ahead of him in this line of work.

And when he came how with this cake... Girls... he was glowing from pride and happiness...

Although it has been a bumpy ride for the both of us... I was so proud and happy to see

that he found his happiness in this again.

And the bad thing is... I totally forgot to make a photo of the cake...

(I know shame on me!!!!)

But it tasted sooooo goood!!!! 

And today there is another PARTY coming at the

PAPER CRAFT PLANET GROUP

from Michelle Perkett this afternoon at 1PM Pacific Time the party will start there... and Michelle designed two brand new images for the winners over there.

I hope that you all will join us, bring lot's of fun and cheers with you!

So decided to groom Sprout the Birthday princess for this afternoon

And I know that Camille is all dressed up and ready for this afternoon

So make sure that you are ready and all dressed up to join us in the games and play with us!

Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images

Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images!

Today there is another monday... And it's october already...

I think I missed September completly... really...

That is why I decided to use this sentiment on this card.

I colored these lovely pumpkins with Copic Markers.

I airbrushed the mat of the photo and the mat of the sentiment.

The sentiment paper is airbrushed as well.

The paper on the right is glossy photo paper wich I "stamped" with Various Ink.

The little leaves are cut with my silhouette and airbrushed in their color.

The image is Pumpkins from Shelly's Images Store.

I love this nature image. It is Pumpkin time again. In front of many houses there are pumpkins in all sizes and colors. I love to see that. For me that means that Autumn has began.

And I mentioned the sentiment before....
