Preview All That Scraps Sweet November Blue Berry

It's the end of April....! Can you believe it... 
Tomorrow we have a big Fiësta in my Country.
It's Queensday over here.. And that means that there are loads of streetgames for kids  to do in the morning and in the afternoon there is a big streetmarket were kids can sell there toys!
And that is in each and every little, big or very big city in my country! 
We all celebrate the birthday of our Queen!


Back to today... it's a bit partytime too here...

And Christine also has some brand new dies in store as well... I used them all together on this card! A great border die and A butterfly die with a big and little one in it and I added them together as one on this card.

DT Call at Christmas Challenges!!!!

I'm so proud to be in the Design Team of All that Scraps. Sometimes I can't believe this happened to me! And I have to say... I'm still not used to it. 

When the post brought me my first package with material to work with I really really almost

peed my pants from happines and joy!! 

So today this is going to be my really first card made with a stamp that I received by post!

She is brand new in store at All That Scraps from May 1st!

This is Cute Birgitta sitting on a Stone wall acompanied by Lamp post!

I colored them all with copic markers on DCP papers.

Colors that I used are:

Skin: E0000,E000,E00,E93  Hair: E55,E53,E51,E50

Stone wall: E19,E18,E17,E13  Butterflies: Y38,Y35,Y32

I stamped a second Cute Birgitta on DCP and gave her color as well and added around her some grey and blue color and cut her out with a heartshaped die. The other complete Birgitta I cut out and added her with 3d dots on the stone wall and the heartshaped Birgitta. 

The shape of the card is from a Dutch Scor Pal book by Kitty Franken.

Na vandaag een heerlijke dag buiten in de tuin bij mijn  ouders en een lekkere BBQ ben ik morgen in Santpoort Noord.Morgen gaat namelijk de winkel van Moeders Hobbypaleis na een grondige verbouwing weer open. En dat wordt de hele komende week gevierd met ontzetten leuke demonstraties en aanbiedingen.
En vandaag is het mijn beurt om met de Copic Markers een demonstratie te geven in de winkel.
Natuurlijk heb ik een paar voorbeeld kaartjes gemaakt om mee te nemen...
Dit is er 1 van.

Benieuwd welke kleuren en materialen ik heb gebruikt... kom gezellig langs en vraag het me!

Dus in plaats van naar een meubel boulevard... kom gezellig bij ons langs..

Brand New Christmas Challenges {with Sketches}

 I have some exiting news to share with you all!

 A little while ago the team of {Christmas Creations} on Clubs.nl, Janneke,
 Nicole, Renata and myself decided, with Janneke as initiator, to set up a
 new challenge blog. Of course in the same spirit as the club, so it became
 Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. We like everyone to participate in
 this brand-new challenge blog. Aren't we all, at the end of the year, busy
 making tons of Christmas cards?? Well, if you join us from the 1st of June,
 using our sketches, you avoid the stress and lack of time in the December
 month. And you can spend that time with your loved ones.

Review All That Scraps

When I saw the new stamps of Sweet November Penelope and Fibonacci... I instantly fell 

in love with them. How adorable are they? And immediatly I knew that I wanted to use the Graphic 45 papers with them... but there came a challenge for me... which markers to use for them? Because the colors that are in the papers weren't in my collection of markers. So I had to step outside my comfortzone and started to experiment with colors to find how to make it work. And lucky me... I found it...

I used the blender technique with the E19 and E17.... And I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with the result. What do you think?

New Challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio

It's another Tuesday... 
And after a long visit in the hospital for myself yesterday, I have to be back today for an MRI. I still hope that my knee is allright and I don't need a surgery.. so keeping my fingers crossed today!
And despite of that and after a busy and fantastic weekend it's time again for a new challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio!

Art Specially Event

Wat een geweldig weekend heb ik achter de rug! Zoals de meeste van mijn blogvriendinnen en andere vriendinnen weten was ik de winnaar van de landelijk kaart wedstrijd van Art Specially. En de prijs die ik won was een heel weekend met hotelverblijf en verzorging en vrije entree het hele weekend op het Event!

Ik heb er geen woorden bijna voor... Wat een geweldig event is dit!

Ik wil allereerst Angela en haar hele team complimenteren met al het werk ze er aan hebben gehad en hoe fantastisch alles opgezet was en alles op rolletjes liep!!

Jullie verdienen een hele dikke pluim!!!

En de nieuwe stempel lap die je van te voren kon bestellen... ik vind het een pracht lap! Enig om er direct mee aan de slag te kunnen aan de workshop tafels van Art Specially! Goed en duidelijk uitgelegd kon je daar bij verschillende tafels verschillende tags met deze nieuwe stempels maken! 

Ik heb de zaterdag gebruikt om bij een deel van de stands langs te gaan en te kijken, genieten en kletsen... lekker veel bekenden tegengekomen en pret voor 10 gemaakt!

Vond het zo leuk om jullie allemaal weer te zien en te spreken!

Het hotel was absoluut geslaagd en toen ik zaterdag versleten op mijn kamer aankwam lag daar tot mijn grote verrassing zelfs nog een presentje! 

De nieuwe Art Specially boekjes 
van Miranda Degenaars en van Eefke Moes met lieve stempels er zelfs bij!

Lieve Angela wat een geweldige verrassing was dit... ben heerlijk op het bed gaan liggen en heb de boekjes liggen lezen. Wat een prachtwerken staan in beide boeken. Hoe geweldig uitgelegd hoe het gemaakt is en het kleurgebruik en de technieken!!! Absoluut een aanrader deze boekjes!

Ik heb die dag mijn ogen uitgekeken en tot mijn grote vreugde werden er 's avonds in het hotel ook nog diverse workshops gegeven door verschillende bedrijven.

Ik behoorde tot de gelukkige dat ik de workshop van Judi Kins en Hein Design kon volgen! Wat een goed georganiseerde workshops waren dit. Top samenwerking tussen beide teams en de dames die bij deze workshops assisteerden! 

Ik heb heerlijk met de Mica Gloss en roller en stempels  van Judi Kins gewerkt en een opzet voor een kaart gemaakt. Overdag had ik al een grandioos en eerlijk advies gekregen en dat kon ik erg waarderen. Ben dus totaal gevallen voor haar stempels en vooral ook de Mica Gloss!

Mijn creativiteit borrelt om er uit te mogen en aan de slag te gaan hiermee!

Ook de workshop van Hein Design was een genot. Met acrylverf en stempels een opzet voor een kaart gemaakt... leuke technieken waar ik zelf niet zo 1,2,3, zou zijn opgekomen. Dus ook wat dit betreft nog een wereld aan leuks te ontdekken en te doen!

De andere leuke workshops heb ik aan me voorbij laten gaan.. ik was zo moe en versleten en ben heerlijk om 22.00 uur mijn bed ingevallen en was zo vertrokken in dromenland.

's Morgens een lekker ontbijt gegeten en weer terug naar de hal.

Het grote genieten kon zo weer verder gaan...  gezellig langs geweest bij Crealies en lekker gekletst met Annelies en daar de gloednieuwe tags en wat bijpassende tekststempeltjes gekocht! Wat zijn ze enig zeg! Kan niet wachten om er mee aan de slag te gaan!

Bij Cute Cards and Stamps een hele mooie naamstempel voor mezelf gekocht. Gert-Jan maakte die ter plekke met de computer en een mooi apparaat klaar... En hij stempelt zo fijntjes en mooi! Echt zijn geld helemaal waard!

Bij Whiff of Joy heb ik mogen kennismaken met Katherina en haar man. Wat een leuk en lief stel is dat. Ook Sonja die daar aan de demotafel zat was een schat. Veel uitleg over H2O sparkling product en zelf mee gekleurd. Leuk om mee te werken!!! En het past zo goed bij die  leuke stempels van ze! 

Ik ben bij nog zoveel meer stands geweest en gekletst en gelachen! Wat heb ik genoten van alles en iedereen achter de kramen/stands!  Zo behulpzaam en zo op hun gemak! Ik geloof dat ik aardig over mijn budget ben gegaan... maar dat is gewoon hun schuld! 

Mijn aanwinsten! 

Maar het meest van allemaal wil ik mijn innig lieve dochter Marieke bedanken. Zij is een heel weekend met me mee geweest, mijn rolstoel geduwd, geduldig geluisterd en gekeken (is nog niet echt creatief aan de gang) en samen gekletst en gelachen!

Lieve meis.... zonder jou had ik dit weekend niet kunnen volbrengen en zo kunnen genieten. 

Heel erg dank je wel!

Zo... en nu naar bed en bijkomen van alles en na genieten van deze twee heerlijke dagen!

Hopelijk hebben jullie het ook zo naar je zin gehad op het Event! Mocht je niet zijn geweest!!! Dan absoluut gaan volgend jaar! Het is beslist een MUST als je van stempelen houdt!

Little Easter Basket and Challenge at Cards Etc.

Easter is on it's way... and I'm busy with preparing some things in my home...

Bought me some yummy little chocolate eggs (they are all gone by now)

and made some fun stuff for decorating my home!

And how lucky that Cards Etc is having a wonderful challenge with this lovely Easter basket!

This is a Lovely Cutting file that you can buy for little at the Challenge blog.

I decided to decorate this little basket as well with Ginger Bunny, Fence and Little Rabbit from the digi collection of All That Scraps.

I colored them on DCP Paper from Claire Fontaine and then cut them out and add them in layers on the basket.

Like I said... the eggs are disappeared now so I need to get some new ones here..

new Challenge at All That Scraps!

I keep fighting with my laptop to get acces to internet and all my stuff... and sometimes I'm lucky and sometimes I'm not... 

Well last week there were a lot on not days... so I didn't post my part of the new challenge at 

All That Scraps Challenge!

And that is a pitty because this week is a real great one! It's all about Watering Cans...

So this is what I made with the fun template that you can find at the challenge blog!

I used white Cardstock, stamped and clear embossed it and then inked it with Distress inks.
