What a week

What a week it has been

It was a week in wich I had to live without my computar for a few days. And let me tell you, I know I was hooke on my putar... but that I had an addiction with was really new to me.

Wow... I barely survived it... :-)

So I didn't post much... But there are some great things going on at so many blogs and sites.

And I'm not sure if you heard the buzz... but there is a brand new SNR group called 

Crafters Digital Art Centre

It's a group of digital artist who joined in one big group and having all their great force and image  together in one fun group. There is a challenge going on with a ton of Freebies to start with.

And I couldn't wait and make some new cards with these great freebies.

Non challenge card Cowgirls Up stamps.

Theatre card with Cowgirl Up Stamps.

 Last Thursday I was crafting with my best friend in crafting Wilma and I showed her my tent card I made.. and I told her that I wanted a card with more space at the top as well.. and she reminded me about the Theatre card.

I was so gratefull that she helped me with that, so I want to give her the credit for this. 

Wilma, thanks for this. You're the best!!!

I had such fun in coloring this lovely Check Faery by Cowgirls Up Stamps and can be found HERE.

So here is what I made with her in this Theatre card.

Check Faery is realy floating between the two layers as you can see. And on request I can tell you that I will make a tutorial for this card and publish it on my tutotial site and on the new SNR group that started Friday.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday Challenge

So after closing last week's TTT it's time to start the new one. You all made wonderful cards. I love to see the variety of work that you all make. This week it will be a challenge called:

Anything goes other than a square or retangle card.

So it can be that lovely milk pack from the tutorial that was HERE last tuesday, it can be a sack, a tag, a bookmark, a doorhanger... anything as long as it isn't a square or retangled card.

I decided to make a little gift bag and play a little more with the line and the bait and hook. I added a little feathers on it... and the line is hanging down in front of the fish. Some loose sequins are the splashes of water around the jumping fish and the sequins below the fish is the waterline. You can also see a little hint in my project of the coming freebie for tomorrows Fabulous Freebie Friday. Be sure to come by tomorrow to get your freebies.

Well and you can add any label to it... I choose a sentiment from the Freebie text made by Min last time.

Technique Tuesday

How about a new Tutorial Tuesday on Shelly's Images?

From yesterday till Saturday I'm the Head DT leader at Shelly's Images Blog. And every day there will be something to see or do on that blog. And I got so lucky because my creativity was on the roll last sunday and I had this "urge" to make this lovely little Milk Pack that can be used to hide a little present or some sweets in it.

Now the hard part for me was to recalculate this template to inches. Cause in my country we work with Centimeters.. .and you girls all work with inches.. So I took my ruler with inches and a calculator and started to work with it.

Well trust me... Calculating is not my thing... but I managed to make it work.

Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images

Today it is another Marvelous Monday!

Goodmorning to you all... It's monday again... My son is finished with his finals and now he has to wait a long time to hearing the results... so till then he will be home, gaming, working his weekend job during his holiday and be a bit nervous...

My Daughter is going to Graduate in September.. So lucky for me I don't have to split myself in two pieces to be at both their school at the same time.

But back to some crafting.... today is Monday... and at

Shelly's Images there is a new release..
And since I will be the DT leader for all week I have the honor to show you this wonderful newbie.

This is a beautiful image drawn by guest artist (and Shelly's daughter) Meghann.  It is perfect for Father's Day or any masculine card.  This image is perfect to be used with our "Dock" image (coming friday as an extra release) and our "Fishing Freebies" (to be released Friday as well).
