Cowgirl Up's Challenge #1 Mothersday/Spring card

Let's get the party started and play the first challenge. Diane picked a nice one to start with. And I choose to make a card for Mothersday with one of the lovely stamps of Cowgirl's Up Stamps .
So come on over and join us in this wonderfull and fun challenge. Here is what I made for it:

The stamp is called "all my love" and will  soon be available at the brand new store. As you reed this CJ is working like crazy to get the store ready. The place to go will be Cowgirl Up Digital Stampen Ranch.
Please bare with us and come back later this week to see the fabulous results.

Each challenge will be available for two weeks which gives you plenty of time to do it along with any other challenges that you participate in.

The winner gets 2 free digital stamps and will be a guest designer for the next challenge with me and the erst of the DT.  The winner, along with the Top 3, will also receive blog badges to proudly display on their blog showing their accomplishment.  All four of the winners will be personally selected by a member of the DT, we will not be using Random.org to select our winners.  So please rest assured that the DT will be looking at all of your entries!

Shelly's Images Terrifically Thrilling Thursday Challenge.

Shelly's Images Terrifically Thrilling Thursday Challenge.

This week's TTT Challenge is a RECIPE Challenge. I'm not sure about you, but I always LOVE a good recipe!!
Todays recipe is to use:

1 Embossed Pattern (either dry embossing or stamped embossing)
2 Patterned Papers and

At least 3 pieces of Bling (We LOVE BLING around here!!)

"Soak of the winterblues, cause spring has sprung"

Your're wonderful...

 An easel card

.......with lot's of stickles and bling, embossed papers, patterned papers
and colored for the first time with copics. Oh I love those copics... the colors blend so easy and it is a joy to work with them. The papers I used are K&Company Daisy by Tim Coffey. The white paper is with embossed daisy's. I love this paper and it is in my stock for a long time now. But this stamp just asked for these papers. I colored the embossed daisy's with stamping ink and added pearls by prima marketing.
I wanted to make an easel card for some time now and I decided to do it now. The text i wanted on the card was the following...
"Soak of the winterblues, cause spring has sprung"

Enjoy and leave a comment if you like it.

Here is my card for this DT call. After some busy weeks I finally surfed round my favourite sites and almost missed this call. So CJ, thanks for extending this call. I feel so lucky....
The stamp is Lou from CJ's Cowgirl up Stamps and I love her. From the moment I looked at her I knew what color I wanted to use for her. The challenge was to find matching papers... well that succeded as well.. :-) I printed Lou twice. One I colored with Derwent pencils and Terpetin, the lace is made with stickles, the other one was cut out for masking. The background of the colored Lou is with fired brick and spiced marmalade from Tim Holz, the stamps are from Fancy Pants in the color victorian velvet by Tim Holz. Then when this was done I took dark peony from color box and colored the background again. The flowers are cut out with my silhouette and handmade and pieced together after inking them.
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border. Unfortunally the colors on the photo are no match for the real card. Hope that the impression of the colors is clear.

Lou is for me the Fairy Queen who brings the flowers alive after a cold winter.
