This card I made just for fun and to find my mojo back. I have this image for ages and wanted to color her is a different tone than i useally do. And since I bought DP with orange tones in it I decided to use that color in this image. And I have to say... I think I'm going to like orange...

Sketch Saturday

Week # 102  Sketch challenge by Sketch Saturday

Well today I decided to give the challenge of Sketch Saturday a try. I'm pretty new to challenges and certainly not in piling them up. But here is my contribution.

The stamp is by Mo Manning and my DS came with the sentiment. From the moment he saw the image colored he told me that this should be the sentiment. So here it is. The upper round is a bit shiny.. but it's supposed to be a cookie with a bite off.

Prairy Fairy Fridays week 18

Prairie Fairy Friday week # 18 recycle.

 The challenge this week is to RECYCLE! Reuse or recycle something you have into something new!

On this card I used a tag from the new pants of my son. I have them on my desk for a few weeks and they were waiting to be used... so here's one of them... I love to use the labels cause they are some kind of artwork nowdays.

The stamp is Mo's and colored with copics. The sentiment says I love you. I made the card for someone that is going to a rough time and want her to know that I love her and that I'll be there for her.

Mojo Monday #133

Welcome to April! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it's CONTEST time! For those of you new to Mojo, we just play for fun most weeks, but the first sketch of every month is our Mojo Madness contest with prizes for our top picks. So dust off your mojo and get ready to stamp! This month I'm taking a little break from the sketch drawing board, but the Mojo girls have some fabulous sketches planned for April. This week's sketch comes from Janette Olen. 

Deze kaart heb ik vanmorgen gemaakt voor deze wedstrijd. Het papier komt uit mijn restjes voorraad. De stempel is van Mo Manning en ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en terpetine. Ik heb de randen van het papier distressed and geinkt met  tim Holz distress inkten broken china, fired brick en spiced Marmalade.. De ovalen zijn gesneden met mijn silhouette.


I made this card this morning for this great challenge. The paper is from my stash. De digistamp is from Mo Manning and colored with Derwent pencils and terpentine. The edges of the papers are distressed with Tim Holz distresser and inked with his ink in the colors Broken china, Spiced marmalade and Fired brick. The ovals are cut with my silhouette.

Vrolijk Pasen / Happy Easter

Mo's weekly challenge #25  Pastel colors:

Helaas door de drukte niet aan de vorige challenge niet mee kunnen doen, maar deze week ben ik weer van de partij. Ik heb een Side step card gemaakt. De tutorial vond ik op Shelly's Images. Ik heb op deze kaart het papier heel bewust zodanig op de kaart verwerkt zodat het mooie papier zichtbaar in tact zou blijven.

De versieringen zijn gemaakt van de bijbehorende stickers welke ik op papier heb geplakt, uitgeknipt en geplakt. Het papier is zo mooi. Het is een oude lijn van K& Company. Digitale stempel is van Mo's.

Unfortunally I was unable to join the challenge last week. I made a side step card from wich I found the tutorial on Shelly's Images. The paper is a old line from K&Company as are the stickers. I added them om cardstock and cut them out. The stamp is from Mo's and colored with Derwent pencils.

 

Het was een drukke week / It's been a busy week

Wat een drukke week is het geweest. Veel rompslomp en niet eens voorbereidingen voor pasen. Maar goed... vandaag heb ik heerlijk de tijd gehad om de stempels die ik afgelopen week heb gekleurd te verwerken tot kaarten. En tot mijn verbazing was ineens halverwege de ochtend mijn mojo weg.
Ik ben zo veel bezig geweest met "cute" kaarten dat ik de feeling naar wat stoerdere kaarten kwijt was. Dus mezelf eens flink toegesproken, wat op het internet zitten surfen en daar werd de mojo ook niet blij van... en uiteindelijk gewoon gaan doen... wel,,,, ik ben bevallen van twee kaarten voor jongens die hun vormsel hebben gedaan en twee kaarten voor twee meisjes die hun vormsel hebben gedaan. Deze vier kaarten zijn in opdracht gemaakt voor een winkel in mijn dorp namelijk www.topday.nl. Een heerlijke winkel met bijzondere kaarten, snuisterijen voor allerlei evenementen.

What a week I had. And not even preparing for Easter... anyway.... during my spare time last week I coloured some digital and normal stamps and finally today I had the time to make some cards with them...
Well... that was the planning. But somehow I lost my mojo during the morning. I spend so much time on making "cute" cards that I had trouble in making some tougher looking cards. I surfed the internet and my mojo skipped even more.... After a good kick in the ...... I started just doing some things without my mind and the flow came a bit shy looking around the corner. 
These cards are specially made for the great store in my village. It's called www.topday.nl and it's filled with all kind of special occasions stuff.

De kaart is uitgesneden met mijn Silhouette. De stempel van Mo's en tevens mijn bijdrage voor Mojo Monday 132. Ingekleurd met Derwent, Hotfix steentjes, lint en papier wat ik nog had liggen.

Gefeliciteerd met je vormsel.

De stempel is van Mo's. De stempel is ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en bewerkt met geurloze terpetine. Ik denk er hard over om eens te gaan stoeien met de copics. Helaas zijn ze behoorlijk prijzig en ik vind het lastig om via internet kleuren te kiezen. Dus ik pieker gewoon nog even door hierover. :-)

Papier is van Bazill, Basic Grey/Recess, pijl is van Tilm Holz en bewerkt met paintdabber en stempelinkt. Eronder een windroosstempel en lint.

Op de foto komen de kleuren helaas niet tot zijn recht. De stempel is van Mo's en is een jongen die luchtgitaar speelt. Mijn zoontje kon dat vroeger ook doen... genieten toch...Ook ingekleurd met derwentpotloden. De achtergrond van de stempel is ingekleurd door een zelfgemaakte paperpiecing wolk en dan lekker met inkt de achtergrond bewerken. Lint en papier uit oude voorraad.

Eindelijk weer eens een Magnolia stempel ingekleurd. Zou door die digitale stempels bijna vergeten dat je deze ook nog hebt... ;-)

Mo's challenge #23 - Use at least three punches on your project.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt op aanvraag van mijn vriendin. Ze wilde graag een leuke en unieke trouwkaart. En dat kan natuurlijk. Ik heb er een kaart van gemaakt die bij de challenge van deze past bij Mo's .
De uitdaging is om minimaal 3 punches te gebruiken op je project. Wel... dat is hier wel gelukt het zijn er 5 geworden. Het was een echte uitdaging om het passend bij de trouwkaart te laten passen.
Ik heb "gepunched" met mijn silhouette, de nieuwste Martha Stewart punch XL en 2 bloemen punches.Verder wat hotfix parels, glimmermist pearl, derwent potloden en stickles.

This card I made cause my best friend asked me to make a unique wedding congrats card. And of course is that possible. I decided to make te card fitting to the challenge at Mo's this week. The challenge is to use at least 3 punches. Well I succeded in that... I used 5. It was a challenge to let the card be in th style of the wedding invitation.  "punched" with my silhouette, the newest Martha Stewart XL punch and 2 flower punches. Further I used HotFix pearls, glimmermist pearl, derwent pencils, stickles and pearl brad.

Hier nog war leuke kaarten. Inmiddels heb ik een mooi watermerk over mijn kaarten. Deze is gemaakt door Dina Kowal. Daar kun je er één laten maken door haar. en ze zijn zo makkelijk te plaatsen over je kaart heen. Helemaal top.
Gisteravond gezellig bij mijn vriendin aan het knutselen met groen geslagen voor een mooi paasstuk op tafel. Het is een zeer geslaagd geheel geworden. (al zeg ik het zelf). :-)
Inmiddels ben ik in opdracht bezig met het maken van 3 kaarten. Als ze klaar zijn zal ik ze hier ook posten. Daarnaast ben ik in opdracht een album aan het maken voor een stel dat gaat trouwen. Kortom lekker druk.


Just for some fun are here a few more cards.... I visited the site of Dina Kowal and ordered a watermark for myself. And this is the result. I just love it and it is so easy to place on your photo's.
Last night I went to my friend and made a great tablepiece for easter. She developed it and we just had to make it. I think she did a great job in creating and I did a great job in copying it. :-)

In the mean time a have an order for making 3 cards for special occasions, I just love doing that. When finished I will show you. Next to that I have an order for making a special album for a young couple that is getting married. So busy as usual.

40 years wedding anniversay

My contribution to Guest Designer on Mo's Dream Team!!!.
The title of this card is Spring has sprung, and springcleaning has to be done..(sigh)

The bottom of Mum is in 3d on her as the bottom of her shoes..... I love this picture... springcleaning is (lucky for me) out of time... but my mom is still has her springcleaning.
The flower is handmade from the paper, the circles are cut with my silhouette.

N0 #22 Mo`s Digital Challenge :

Hier is mijn bijdrage aan deze challenge. De opdracht was om een kaart te maken die niet vierkant of rechthoekig is. Deze kaart heb ik uitgesneden met mijn silhouette en daarna met psx papier bekleed en als versierrandjes op de taart heb ik ricrac gebruikt. Het plaatje is van Mo`s. Ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en de vleugels zijn ingekleurd met stickles evenals de kaars en het vlammetje.

Here`s my contribution to this challenge. The challenge is to make a card that is not square or retangular. I cut this card with my silhouette machine (wich I adore). I decorated it with PSX paper Lets party and the ricrac is the icing on the cake. Little birthday fairy Dee ( from Mo`s)  has a full yummy tummy and is thinking... you`re so sweet. She coloured with Derwent pencils and her wings are with 2 colours of stickles and so are the candle and the flame.

Ik heb inmiddels een hele nieuwe hobby naast het scrappen gevonden. Kaarten maken van scrappapier en met stempels of digitale stempels. Ik ben er weg van en hier zie je een aantal kaarten die ik de laatste twee weken heb gemaakt.

I found a totally new hobby for myself. Making cards from scrapbooking materials and with stamps or digital stamps. It`s becoming an addiction, here are some cards I made last two weeks.
