Hi girls,

I've found some time this morning to craft. Sjors is lying on his bed and is sleeping... and for the first time in almost 3 weeks I've been crafting... I sure missed it!

Today there is a brand new challenge at Christmas Challenges with Sketches.... this is what I made for it

GDT voor Scrapdelight.

Deze maand heb ik de eer om GDT te zijn voor Scrapdelight uit Nieuwegein. Ik kreeg een prachtige papierlijn om mee te werken en wist meteen waar ik die voor wilde gaan gebruiken.

Ik heb een canvas gemaakt met een foto die ik heb gemaakt van Hulphond Sjors. Sjors en ik 

blijken een goede match te zijn. Sjors heeft vanaf dat hij 8 weken oud is in een pleeggezin 

gewoond waar hij is opgeleid en getraind tot hulphond. Zijn pleegmoeder heet Lia en nu na 1,5 jaarmoest zij afstand doen van Sjors aan mij. Ik heb dit canvas voor haar gemaakt als dank voor al haar liefde en moeite die ze in Sjors heeft gestoken.

Ik ben begonnen om het canvas met verschillende kleuren glimmermist in te sprayen en daarna te drogen met de heatgun. Vervolgens het papier uitgezocht en zitten puzzelen hoe ik het wilde gebruiken op het canvas. Wat ik geweldig gaaf vond was die ronde koffievlek op het papier... dus die heeft dan ook een prominente plaats op het canvas gekregen.
Nadat ik de randen van het papier heb bewerkt met de distresser en de Vintage photo inktpad heb ik het papier met lijm op het canvas aangebracht. 
In de meltingpot heb ik beeswax gesmolten en die op verschillende plekken op het canvas gegoten en tijdens het drogen wat laten uitlopen en druppelen. Deze oppervlakken bewerkt met perfect pearl blush en pearl. Daarna de verschillende onderdelen op het canvas uitgewerkt en bevestigd.


In de meltingpot heb ik een restje bruine kaars gesmolten, in de First impressions roos mold gegoten en laten uitharden. Vervolgens met perfect pearls Blush en Pearl bewerkt.
Daarna heb ik de beeswax met heatgun verwarmd en lint in de warme beeswax gelegd en nog wat met een kwastje en beeswax bewerkt en afgewerkt met Perfect pearls. en vervolgens de bruine roos bovenaan bevestigd.


De grote en kleine rozen heb ik zelf gemaakt met het prachtige BoBunny papier Etcetera en de Tattered Florals stans van Tim Holtz. 

De randen van de rozen heb ik met beeswax ingesmeerd met een kwastje en vervolgens met Perfect pearl goud en bronze bewerkt. De Flourish Swirl onder de bloemen aangebracht en ook met beewwas en perfect pearls bewerkt, de uitgestanste rozenblaadjes zijn bewerkt met vintage photo en in de nerven wat beeswax aangebracht met een kwastje en wat goudkleurig perfect pearl als accent erin aangebracht. Op de Flourish Swirl zitten kleine elementjes die ik heb gemaakt van bruine kaars die ik heb gesmolten in de meltingpot en vervolgens gestort in een First Impressions mold en daarna nog wat glans gegeven met Perfect pearls goud en pearl.


De letters heb van de naam uitgestanst met een oud Quickkutz alfabet Beauty Queen en vervolgens in de meltingpot in de gesmolten utee gedoopt.. laten uitharden en dit nog 3 keer gedaan waardoor er mooie dikke glanzende letters ontstaan en deze in de boog van het Etcetera papier met lijm bevestigd.


Ik heb in de meltingpot een mix van Utee clear, Utee wit en Utee flex gesmolten en daarna heel voorzichtig druppels Distress refill er in gedruppeld en voorzichtig gemengd. De maat van de foto aangegeven op mijn craftsheet en vervolgens een "fotolijstje" los gegoten op het craftsheet en laten drogen. Daarna bewerkt met perfect pearls en op de foto geplakt met lijm.

Ik ben helemaal weg van mijn meltingpot en vond het een feest om hem op verschillende manieren te gebruiken. Het experiment met restjes kaarsvet was zowaar een succes en erg leuk om uit te proberen.

First week at Home

We are home again from a whole heavy weekk of training. You could say that I was trained that week on how to work with Sjors my Assistance Dog!

Trained by Inge Molleman the Dog Trainer... Sjors is walking free with me along the wheelchair.

Time of work and Time to play... running free back to me!

I think you could say he feels save and at home here in our home!

A match made in heaven.

This first week home was a week of getting used to each other and finding our rythm together.

I hope to craft a little again tomorrow and share with you here again.

I thank all the DT teams and girls in it and Owners for their patience and time out they gave me lately!

Ha.... yes... can you believe it... there are again some brand new and hot stamps at All That Scraps!!!

The background stamp is brand new and bought on a big craft event in November... and together with the Snowman Sentiment from AmyR they became the perfect match for me!

Preview All That Scraps Day 1

Well... everyone is so busy with their Christmas preperations like cards, food and presents.... but at All That Scraps Christine is allready working a season ahead for you all! How about a little Valentine images in December? Weird... not for me.. this gives me a lot of time to prepare for new fun and get a little breath in all the Christmas showers everywhere on the internet and stores.

So I decided to make a set of the wonderful new Valentine stamps, text stamps and dies available from December 7th HERE

I made this enveloppe by myself to go with a great card (to be shown at the review)

I cut out this form of enveloppe from White Bazzil cardstock.

Stamped corner stamps and the corners of the front and clear embossed them.

Colored the edges of the front with 3 colors of Distress ink.

Stamped in the left corner a text from the brand new Heart-Y sayings by AmyR

Birgitta blowing Hearts from ATS is colored with Copic markers and cut out and glued to the front.

At the back I used the brand new C.C.Cutter Die Big Hearts and text from AmyR Heart-Y sayings.

Challenge #16 at ArtJourney.

Good afternoon to you all! 

Today there is a brand new challenge at the blog of Artjourney. I had so much fun in the last challenge that I want to enter in this challenge again. Allthough I didn't win the challenge..my tag was shown and mentioned in the winners post. I'm so proud of that and thank them for it!

This time the theme of the challenge is winter. I've made so many cards with my new stamps from Chocolate Baroque... and I think that this card would apply to the theme winter.

*I used plain white bazzil cardstock. The centerpiece I colored with Brilliance lavender and dried it

well with my heattool. 

*Once dry I stamped the middle snowflake and embossed it with WOW snow glitter embossingpowder.

*Then I did the same with the right and left snowflake.

* After that I took my Embossing pen and ruler and made lines to the top of the card and 

embossed those with the same embossingpowder.

* I stamped a wonderful text at the bottom of the card en embossed it with the same powder again.

Finally I made a little bow from very dark Lilac ribbon and added little lilac pearls at the top of each embossed thread.

It's very plain en simple... but I love this color and the stamps kept inspiring me to more and more cards.
