Nieuwe challenge bij Cards Etc.

Vanaf 22 januari is er weer een nieuwe challenge op het blog van Cards Etc.

Is het een Hartjes kaart of een Bloem kaart? Allebei!

Beide labels zitten in de kaart.

Omdat het volgende maand Valentijn is, maar niet iedereen daar iets mee heeft, heeft Jolanda deze multifunctionele Label-kaart ontworpen.

De basis is hetzelfde, maar het label maakt de soort kaart. 

Ik heb gekozen om er een valentijnskaart van te maken.

De label is hier uit de voorkant van de kaart gehaald. Aan de binnenkant van  de kaart

heb ik nog twee hartjes uitgestanst met de Quikutz.

Deze schattige afbeelding op de tag is Boomer met Valentijnshart.

In de winkel vind je trouwens nog meer lieve en schattige digitale stempels.

Nog meer voorjaarszin.

Hoewel het een drukke week is omdat ik nu 3 keer per week met een 

nieuwe bekkentherapie ben begonnen en morgen weer met 

zoonlief naar het ziekenhuis moet zijn die paar momenten om te freubelen een heerlijke afleiding en bron van vreugde. 

En vandaag is het natuurlijk weer een echte regendag met onweer... 

toch ben ik nog steeds aan de rol met het voorjaar in mijn kaarten maken... 

dus lekker met dit papier van Crate Paper aan de slag gegaan.

It's a very busy week here.... I started with a complete new therapie for my pelvis. 3 times a week I drive half an hour to the therapist. But if things go the way we hope this will mean a huge change in my life. :-)

Next to that my DS is still ill and at home. Today we need to go to the hospital again and I hope we know more then. 

And the weather... well still cats and dogs here with some thunderstorms mixed with it... So I decided to keep myself in the spring spirit and make a card with those lovely bright colors....  

Hope you like her.... The stamp is Called Fairytale Bella and I so love her.

Voorjaar in aantocht...

Dat klinkt misschien gek....  het is hier een druilerige, mistige regendag. 

Maar de dagen worden al weer langer...

en als het zonnetje wat kans krijgt dan komen de eerste tekenen van het

 voorjaar toch tevoorschijn.

En omdat het zo naargeestig weer is wilde ik een kaartje maken dat me het 

gevoel geeft dat het voorjaar er bijna is.

Ik vind deze stempel, Birgitta on tree so leuk omdat het een tafreeltje is. 

Weer eens wat anders om in te kleuren.

Het andere leuke feit hiervan is dat je met lekker veel kleuren aan de slag kunt.

 Ik heb onderstaande Copic Markers gebruikt:

Het papier is van Imaginisce: Apple cider, Cardstock van Core'dinations Color Core

Bloemen zijn per stuk verkrijgbaar in de winkel van Creabest. 

Blaadjes en brads zijn uit mijn eigen voorraad.

Is spring coming?

It's misery outside here... I mean the weather then... 

It's raining cats and dogs and I feel like Autumn just has began.

But on the other side... the light on the days is staying longer... for me this means that spring is on it's way. And to keep that feeling I made this cute card.

Another Hanglar Stanglar

Another Hänglar Stänglar.

This time I used my brand new Nestabilities Labels 8 and made an easel card with them.

They are so great to use for so many things. 

The image I used is from Hänglar Stänglar. There is something about these images that is so adorable. They are a great fun to use.

I colored her with Copic markers and the papers are from WeRMemorykeepers - Merry january.

On the card I used dew drops as raindrops on it.

The sentiment is from TLC.

Ben eens aan de slag gegaan met Labels 8 van nestabilities en daar een leuke kaart mee gemaakt. Ben er zelf heel blij mee geworden.

En de afbeelding is een stempel van Hänglar Stänglar. Deze afbeeldingen hebben gewoon iets over zich.

Weer een kerstkaartje!

ja echt waar... hier is er nog 1. Het is de eerste van dit jaar weer. Samen met een groepje freublaars maken wij het hele jaar door kerstkaarten. Op die manier hebben we aan het eind van het jaar altijd genoeg kaarten en geen stress.

Lang leve de lol!

Vandaar dat ik dus nu ook nog steeds met regelmaat een kerstkaart laat zien.

Workshop copic basis

Workshop Copic Basis!

Het nieuwe jaar is weer begonnen. En ook dit jaar mag ik weer bij mij thuis, hier in

 Zuid-Holland, voor Creabest de workshop Copic Markers de basis geven.

In deze workshop leer je alle technieken, werken op verschillende papiersoorten, werken met licht en schaduw en nog veel meer. Natuurlijk krijg je ook mooie materialen mee om zelf mooie kaarten te kunnen maken.

Daarnaast wilde ik jullie laten zien hoe leuk het is om een kaart te maken met een sketch voor een layout.
Op het Blog van Creabest heeft Berthine op 4 januari een aantal prachtige sketches voor jullie geplaatst.
Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met die sketch!

Sinds kort heb ik deze prachtige stempels ontdekt! Het zijn zulke mooie en lieve stempels.

Welliswaar lastig om te verkrijgen, maar absoluut helemaal verliefd op ze geworden.

Hier is mijn eerste kaartje met dit schatje!

Resist Technique on Tag

Resist Technique on Tag!

Needs:

3 colors of distress ink (I used aged mahogany, Wild Honey, Broken China)

Ink blending tool,  Ink blending foam (Ranger Tim Holtz)

Versamark ink, Archival ink Coffee and Jet Black

Embossing powder Fine detail silver

Tag, Stamps (by tim Holtz)

Heattool,  Craftsheet

Stamp a swirl or decorative stamp on the tag with Versamark ink pad, emboss with Silver Detail embossing powder and heat with heat tool.

With ink blending tool apply the desired colors to the tag. Use circular motions with the blending tool. Start this circular motion on your craftsheet (or white paper) and during that circling motion you go on to the tag!  This will give you a better result with the inking, and you will not get any stripes on it.…

   

Take a piece of cloth and make it damp with a Mini mister.. and go lightly over the tag. This way you take off the color of the embossed part.

            

  

Stamp your image.  I used Archival Coffee and a little bird stamp from Tim Holtz.  Use the rag and mister again as we did in the last step to remove any ink from the silver embossed area.

Stamp Swirls.  I used Aged Mahogany on tag... and repeat cleaning part as above

               

Stamp the text.  I used Archival Jet Black on to the Tag and repeat the cleaning part as above.

              

Distress edges of tag. I used the distresser tool from Ranger.  Of course there are many ways to distress your projects. Color the edge of your tag with ink.  I used Vintage Photo.
